I am honoured to be based on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen (Leh-KWUNG-en) speaking peoples of the Songhees Nation ( Song-heez ) and Xʷsepsəm Nation ( hW-SEP-sum ), and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples ( wah-SAY-nich ), whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
